Jon has been called the leader of 37R, but only by people who aren't really involved in the group. He writes, directs, and edits. He also owns the camera, so in a way he's kind of like Charlie from Charlie's Angels. Though the rest of the group tires of him always talking to them through an intercom box. He just graduated college and lives in Los Angeles. He wants to be an editor until he can break into directing.

Nick is the main camera crew, he also maintains the reigning champion title of gaffer and visual effects guru. He will occassionally grace us with his amazing expression stylings. Jon was the first one to come and help make a movie. He ran sound for Confessions. He also writes, directs, and urges us to continue to make movies. Made it home from Europe with good stories and these sweet little 3D naked lady postcards. He did the picture a day beard grow thing and now he's doing an hour comic project that you can check out over at selfreflexive.com. It's good because it's real.

Sam McCoy

Despite starting the rival group, seventythreeandroids, with whom we battle endlessly, Sam is a pretty terrific guy. He's a good writer and has a great sense of humor. A recent graduate of UNL, Sam lives with Jon and Nick. He is now one of the core robots.

Karl is in way too many of our movies. He lives in scenic New Jersey.
Actually he is working for the Princeton Univeristy Press designing book jackets and covers. He is an excellent designer, so do yourself a favor and head over to his website and have a look for yourself.

Ben is a funny guy who loves improv and acting. In other words he's a perfect fit. When he's not working he's up on stage with Rough Magic. He is currently looking to escape Lincoln, but has not decided yet where he wants to go. Ben is also the resident ladies man, though he is a terrible wing man.

Matt "Swanky" Vrtiska

Swanky is in college and will probably be graduated next May. His plans after that are still up in the air. He's talked a little about going up to Vancouver to work pursue work in the grip and electric side of the industry, but his real aim in life is to shoot and direct. He works a lot with Sean and they are currently working on a trilogy of short Lovecraft inspired films.

Will has recently moved to Chicago to pursue his acting career and we wish him all the luck. Will is a graduate of the UNL theatre program, but also performed for Rough Magic this last summer and worked on a large number of productions for various theatre groups.

Vince is a recently and happily married man, sorry ladies. He is an accomplished writer and stage actor in the Omaha region. He helped start a late night experimental theatre troupe and has acted for most of the theatre organizations in the Metro area.

He is also an avid fan of Star Wars and enjoys football.

Noel, or XMAS as he is sometimes known, has at best a tenuous grasp of reality. Growing up watching cartoons has led him to believe that he too can fall from fifty stories or have an anvil dropped on his head with nary a scratch. People looking to cast him have approached with caution. Thus far, he's played a dog, a drug addicted writer, and a robotic CEO of a rubber duckie company. It must be all those cartoons that make him act all funny.

Mandy is a terrific make-up artist. She does great injury work and is asked to work on almost everybody's films around these parts. Not to say that she only has bitchin' blood talents, she also does some really great film work. She also recently studied abroad in Australia.

So Katie is a pretty pretty girl. She's studying acting at UNL, but don't hold that against her. She's not your typical drama queen, and she's got a terrific sense of humor. Hopefully we can continue to use her in our stuff.

Jessica is a fine young actor. She's a funny lady who's interest in improv makes her ideal for working with thirtysevenrobots. Hopefully we can count on her when we need a last minute actor, or you know when we just want a funny girl in our movie.

Gavin is a talented filmmaker who is almost done with his schooling. He also has a hot sister he doesn't like us talking about. If you ever have some time and see Gavin ask him about the kid who tried to steal a pony keg... It's hilarious.

He is also one half of the Nostalgia Twins. Sam is the other half of that dynamic duo.
